What is the Super Card?

The Super card is a secured credit card product,  but instead of drawing credit as you do with a traditional credit card, you’re spending the money you already have. Oh, and you don’t need to pre-fund like you do with a debit card or regular secured credit card. That means that after linking your debit card, you’re able to start spending right away.

How does it work?

When you make a purchase, the Super Card will first use any funds available in your Super Deposit Account, but if you’re running low, don’t worry - we got you. We’ll pull the difference from your linked debit account¹.

What if I don’t have any money in my Super Deposit Account?

Even if you have $0 in your Super Deposit Account, no worries. You can rely on the funds in your debit account for the entire purchase! That’s right, no need to take the extra step to add funds. It’s that easy.

Why wouldn’t I just use my debit card if you’re using funds I already have?

Great question, but we have a better answer. Unlike a debit card, using your Super Card has tons of benefits:

  • You can build your credit² by using the Super Card because we report to all three major credit bureaus

  • You will earn uncapped cashback³ on your purchases

  • And many more…

Is it a secured card?

Yes. A secured credit card is an alternative to a debit or traditional credit card because you’re able to spend as much as you have in your linked debit account plus whatever you’ve added to the deposit account¹, up to a monthly credit limit of $5,000². This helps reduce the risk of falling into debt by using the money you already have. The cool thing about us is you can improve your credit simply by using your Super Card because we report your positive repayments² to all 3 major credit bureaus each month.³

  1. Subject to transaction limits, see Help Center for more details.

  2. Other account details are reported to the credit bureaus, compliant with credit reporting standards for secured credit cards.

  3. Super Pay will report your activities to Transunion®, Experian®, and Equifax®. Impact on your credit may vary, as credit scores are independently determined by credit bureaus based on several factors including the financial decisions you make with other financial services organizations.

Who can use Super Pay?

Pretty much anyone… Unlike most traditional credit cards, we don’t care about your credit history. That’s right, zero credit checks. We’ll need to get a bit of basic info from you to verify you’re 18+ and have a valid US SSN, but otherwise, we just want to make sure you’re a real person – the whole process usually only takes a few minutes!

How does Super Pay protect my money?

We comply with all federal regulations and we use top tech to keep your information safe and private. Funds in your Super Deposit Account are FDIC-insured up to $250,000 through our partner bank, MRV Banks, subject to aggregation of all funds held on deposit.

How does growing credit work?

We report your account activity to the 3 major credit bureaus every month, which can help increase your credit score by making on-time payments (we do this for you automatically- no need to worry) and using your card responsibly.¹ Remember that building credit takes time, and often depends on a variety of factors, but we are working hard to make it easy to help you improve your score.

How do I start using my Super Card?

As soon as we’ve verified your identity and you’ve linked your debit card, you’re good to go! You can use your card immediately online and in your mobile wallet, or you can wait for your physical card to arrive in the mail. No need to pre-fund, just make a purchase using the money you already have in your linked debit account and enjoy the perks!
